Privacy & Cookie Policy.

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains how Eco Roofing Group ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you use this website, and how we use cookies. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Who we are

• Email: info@ecoroofinggroup.co.uk
• Phone: 01276 536149

We are the data controller for the personal data collected through this site.

What data we collect

We only collect the data you choose to give us, plus limited technical data:

• Enquiry details you submit through our survey/contact forms: your name, company, email, phone number, site address or postcode, building type, whether you own the property, the service you are interested in, an approximate electricity bill, and any message you send.
• Technical and usage data (only with your consent): pages visited, device and browser type, and how you reached the site — collected via analytics and advertising cookies.

How we use your data, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange a free survey or proposal — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
• To measure and improve our advertising and website — only where you have given consent via our cookie banner.

We do not sell your personal data, and we will never share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Form submissions and third parties

Our forms are processed by Formspree, which delivers your enquiry to us by email. Your data is handled under Formspree's own privacy terms. We also use:

• Google Fonts to display the site's typefaces.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads (only after you accept cookies) to measure website and advertising performance.
• Our website hosting provider, which processes server logs as part of delivering the site.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We group cookies as follows:

• Essential cookies — needed for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. These are always on and need no consent.
• Analytics & advertising cookies — set by Google (Analytics and Ads) to understand traffic and measure our advertising. These load only after you click "Accept all" on our cookie banner.

We use Google Consent Mode: until you accept, Google's tags are held in a consent-denied state and do not store advertising or analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data, which will make the banner reappear.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and to meet legal or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to withdraw consent for cookies at any time.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
